People In Need is an organization whose mission is to assist the working poor to a place of self-sufficiency. This Christian based organization follows the biblical teaching of helping others, whether the need is financial, spiritual or physical. In the book of Acts, the writer gives us two examples where those who had the means helped those who were in need. We believe that good stewardship of what God has given us is to help others and further the Kingdom of God. We don’t worry about the future and we don’t actively solicit funds. We know that we will always have enough for those that God has brought to us to help.

Jesus taught that He would take care of tomorrow if we would have faith in Him and take care of what is here today. The People In Need Corporation provides a way to apply this teaching by offering the opportunity for others to invest in the working poor. 100% of the funds received go directly to families. Everyone in the organization are volunteers and do not receive compensation from the organization for their time and expenses.
